Federal Government Calls For Tips On Illegal Immigrants And Transnational Crime

Citizens and legal residents of the United States can call the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office of the Department of Homeland Security to provide tips about suspected illegal immigrants in the country.
The ICE website encourages tipsters to provide information on a series of threats to national security, such as terrorism and weapons of mass destruction, identity theft and fraud, cyber crimes, drug smuggling, cyber crime and the transfer of sensitive technology or data, in addition to illegal immigration.
The ICE Tip Line is a 24/7 intake center that processes tip information relating to the federal statutes enforced by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). The ICE Tip Line receives information through calls and online from tipsters located throughout the United States and worldwide. It receives, analyzes, documents and disseminates leads to the appropriate domestic HSI field office, international HSI attaché offices at U.S. embassies and consulates or domestic Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) field offices for further review and action.
The public is encouraged to contact the ICE Tip Line to provide information about any crimes investigated by HSI, including:
