U.S. Poised to Become Largest State-Sponsor of Terrorism
Ken’s Thought of the Week
Recent news reports suggest that the Biden/Obama administration’s negotiators have made progress in their relentless and loathsome efforts to appease Iran. No definitive details are available yet, but potential problems and issues have surfaced.
Reportedly, Iran would agree to limit its uranium enrichment to the 60% level, just below where it is today, and inspectors will be allowed to verify the enrichment levels (but only at already disclosed sites). American hostages held by Iran will be released, and the US will continue to relax the oil sanctions. The Biden administration has already allowed Iran to increase production from 0.5 million barrels per day to 1.5 million. If the US allows further increases to 2.5 million barrels daily, Iran’s total windfall will approximate $50 billion. And the US will not impose restrictions on missile production or weapons sales. The US would also give unspecified billions of dollars in “aid” to Iran. There would probably be a Biden administration assurance that Israel will not attack Iran.
Since the administration knows it couldn’t obtain the Senate’s approval, this arrangement is not an official agreement or a treaty. It’s merely a deplorable “understanding”, which would, once again, make the United States the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism, as it did during the Obama administration.
The Biden Administration already gifted the Islamist terrorist regime in Afghanistan with more than $80 billion worth of weapons and military equipment. It also funds the terrorism-sponsoring Palestinian Authority, which pays terrorists to murder Israelis.
By keeping the Southern border open, the Biden administration is enriching the Mexican cartels and supporting the fentanyl warfare against the US that poisons about one hundred thousand Americans each year. It also facilitates millions of illegal migrants, including many criminals, mentally ill, and terrorists, to flood the country, thus increasing crime, homelessness, and chaos.
It is baffling why the Biden administration is not only unwilling to pose severe restrictions on the global terrorist-sponsoring regime in Tehran, and is also ready to fund Iran’s nuclear weapons program and terrorist activities. In effect, the United States is destabilizing the Middle East and undermining its own status as the once sovereign, most powerful nation on earth. To us, this strategy makes no sense!
